The 2025 Eggleton Research Group Annual Retreat adpoted a refreshed format that reflected the group’s commitment to safety, preparedness and shared responsibility. The retreat focused on a practical and highly relevant theme: first aid capability and safety culture.
The afternoon session brought the group together for approximately 3.5 hours of nationally accredited first aid training, delivered by Simple Instruction Pty Ltd. All attendees who successfully completed the training received formal first aid certification.
In addition, Professor Benjamin Eggleton shared a short reflection on the importance of safety, trust, and care within the group, and the retreat concluded with an informal dinner and drinks.
